I’m 34 and I’ve had an interest in aviation for as long as I can remember. Attending airshows, being an Air Cadet, flying with my dad who had his PPL and of course sim flying. I also build 1/48 scale models of aircraft. My sim experience started on ‘European air war’ which came out in 1998! I’ve flown all the Microsoft flight simulators since this time and until recently that was where most of my experience was. Flying a bit of everything but mostly jets, low level, through N. Wales, the Lakes and Scotland. I’ve recently invested in DCS and VR. I’m getting to grips with a working knowledge of the f18, have attempted and survived 3 carrier landings, a/a refueling, a/a combat, some limited a/g and I’ve practiced some formation flying on the 4YA aerobatics server. I mostly fly in the f18 and the Mirage 2000 and enjoying that a lot! I also have some experience with the Huey, recently released chinook and the Phantom. I would be keen to join the OCU and learn how to use all of the features of the f18 or to join the naval squadron to allow me to fly it there. Many thanks for your consideration!
