Hi Jase,

Firstly, welcome aboard. Instead of just the standard check flight, might I suggest you instead enroll for training with the OCU? The course is very in-depth, but it starts with the basics and would be a great way to shed all those bad habits all of us pick up in sim flying.

We have some very expert instructors, including quite senior pilots who served with the RAF, and so our procedures are pretty accurate.

Just follow the links on the forum to the OCU, and you can find out more. We will be running a training session tonight, so there is also an opportunity to meet and chat with the guys who run it there.

Does this inclued sneezing head phones flying off recovering composure then calling mutiple boggies every bearing on the radio net ?
